According to the office blog of Google Chrome, Chrome 4.0 for Windows platform has finally released a stable version 4.0.249.78 Stable. Besides that a leap in performance, it supports more HTML5 features and also formal support for expansion and advanced features such as bookmarks synchronization and extensions. The European Commission announced on Dec. 12 that Microsoft Corp agreed to offer European users a selection browsers via its operating system, including Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. So that European users can select their browsers as they like. Meantime, this will make Manufacturers make more innovation for their products.

Google shipped Chrome betas for Mac and Linux on Dec. 8. According to Net Applications, which tracks the browser habits of 160 million unique visitors each month to the 40,000 sites it monitors for customers, Chrome's share jumped to 4.4% for the week of Dec. 6-12, an increase of 0.4 percentage points over Google's slice of the browser pie for the month of November.
