  • Pros:

Smooth installation, snappy performance, and intuitive user interface. Lots of additional options, easy to use.

    Cons:
If you want to download Lotus Symphony, you have to register for an IBM ID.

    Benifits
Building on the success of Lotus Symphony 1.2, version 1.3 has been upgraded to provide minimal impact to computer performance and user friendly functionality.

Lotus Symphony is a set of applications for creating, editing, and sharing word processing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. It lets users import files saved in Microsoft Office 2007’s native Office Open XML (OOXML) document format, which is welcomed by most users. In my opinion, this is a major revolution by itself.

There are three core applications that make up the Lotus Symphony tools: Lotus Symphony Documents, Lotus Symphony Spreadsheets and Lotus Symphony Presentations. These intuitive software tools, which support Windows and Linux desktops, are designed to handle the majority of office productivity tasks that workers typically perform. Lotus Symphony supports multiple file formats including Microsoft Office and Open Document Format (ODF), and also can output content in PDF format.

IBM Lotus Symphony provides a fresh, people-oriented way to create, contribute and reuse content instantly across a wide range of applications. In addition, because it is based on ODF, Lotus Symphony allows organizations to access, use and maintain all their documents for the long-term, without worrying about ongoing software licensing and royalty fees.

IBM Lotus Symphony gives users the freedom to create and share information, as well as assemble composite applications that link to business processes. For example, IBM Lotus Symphony may be able to help businesses complete tasks more rapidly and efficiently by connecting to relevant information from a variety of sources.

    Installation
The download size is about 197 MB. The installation file is quite clean, there is no malicious ware bundled with it. Installation is very quick and easy following the installation wizard, the application will be up and running in about a minute.

    Performance
This software could run on almost all Windows operating systems, especially for Vista users. So you do not worry if this tool could be compatible with your system.

    Conclusion:
This one is a full functional dedupe tool. it’s fast and it’s very easy to use, for it’s really helpful to us. With its multiple features, no one hardly dissatisfies it. It’s worth recommending, so have a try now!
