Talking e-Mail can help you listen to your incoming yahoo messages as they arrive, via animated characters.
Yahoo mail allows you to access your E-mail via a web browser or a standard E-mail program like Outlook, Eudora or TALKING E-MAIL. Please note that Yahoo has recently started charging customers for POP3 access (Pricing information can be viewed when following the steps below).
If you already have a Yahoo account please follow the steps below. If you don’t have an account yet, please signup now before proceeding.
1. Login into your Yahoo mail account.
2. Click the ‘Options’ link on the left navigation bar.
3. Click the ‘POP Access & Forwarding’ option and follow the steps as instructed.
4. Open Talking E-mail and enter your account information as described below.
- For Incoming mail server (POP Server) enter pop.mail.yahoo.com
- For account name and password enter your YAHOO mail account name and password.
5. Send yourself an E-mail message to your Yahoo address and make sure Talking E-mail picks it up, after you press ‘Check Mail’.
